How much can one translator do per day?

This will vary depending on the complexity of the document, but a typical translator, translating into their specialist category and including checking and proofreading will be able to undertake approximately 1,500 words per working day to a high standard.

How fast can we complete your translation project?

When you request a quote we will provide you with an estimate of the turnaround time. This will depend on the length of your document and the nature of the content. The completed document will always be sent back to you in the fastest possible time.

Can more than one translator be used for a faster translation?

We can provide this service upon request, and it will certainly be a lot quicker for larger documents but for quality reasons, we would not recommend it for material that is being published. As with any form of writing, each person has their own style and this can be seen in translations as well. Although we can guarantee that each translator will provide an accurate translation, we cannot guarantee consistency of style and terminology. Therefore, where uniformity of style is important, sufficient time should be allowed for one translator to undertake the task.

Can we provide a faster translation?

If you were given a certain time frame to complete this project, please let us know, we will spare no effort to help you meet this deadline.

Will a 'play on words' work in another language?

It is highly unlikely that a play on words or double meanings (etc.) will work directly in another language. This is where it is necessary to provide a brief to the translator which fully explains the messages which the original text is designed to convey. So rather than doing a direct translation, the translator will create a new version which will reflect the message and style of the original.

What languages can we translate?
